Its really annoying that guys like Peters and Merandy keep getting shifted between the minors and the majors. They are relatively very inexperienced and shouldnt be shifted back and forth for mop up bullpen major league innings. They needed to sign a couple more bullpen arms in the offseason.

I don't understand the obsession with having the roof open all the time whether it's supposed to rain or not.

Supposedly people were polled and said they wanted it open, but coincidentally it saves a lot of $$$ on a/c. Screw the fans that it's beyond uncomfortable....Jeter doesn't care what the pesants think

I really like Brian Anderson for the future, but the commentary around him on the broadcast recently has been a bit much. They just compared him to soto.

Loved Mattingly's strategy of leaving Lopez, Conley and Peter's in for about 5 batters to long.

I'm told my wife and I were shown on the broadcast and Severino and Hollandsworth chastised us for being damn kids on their phone.

I don't know who was polled, but I doubt most people said that.....that was the whole reason of getting a retractable roof....you know, so we wouldn't have to sit in the hot humid outside. That said, there are a few random days throughout the summer where it's bearable, but that's not often.

I also don't get the save $$ on A/C argument, because they still have it cranking when the roof is open.

Mejia is just ridiculous for a RP that isn't named Chapman. He's a Realmuto centerpiece player.

Might be important to note Conley costs $2 million next year in arbitration. He will have 350 IP at that point which is a healthy amount. There is some risk there in keeping him I suppose.

Still think that's cheap enough to not just shoot him out in a lowkey deal. I think they need to beat the Ramos/Phelps deals here given he's a lefty, still cheaper, and more years of control. And a lot more then that for Barraclough or Steckenrider.

I'm all for having it open when you can, but having it open for the sake of having it open seems ridiculous.
