They have been asking for low level guys in trades(A Ball and lower) so doubt we see any ML ready guys

Guys they wanna promote are Wallach,Dean,Lee,Guerra,Garcia,Peters and wouldn't be surprised if a few guys who have to be added to 40 man to avoid Rule 5 get looks like Brigham/RP

Bour and JT are likely here till Winter Meetings. Urena's name was picking up steam before hurt(looked good yesterday). Wouldn't be surprising if they sold high on Straily AND Urena

Conley still looks like the RP who will be moved(2 reasons-Teams see him as cheaper Brad Hand and asking price on Bearclaw/Steck is crazy)

This could be a very, very, very long 2nd half of the season. Not much joy in Mudville right now. A bunch of Casey's right now.

Marlins rank : 25th in runs, surprisingly 11th in hits, 27th in doubles, 8th in triples - strange numbers. 27th in homeruns. Except for triples this team has a very hard time with extra base hits.

Can this be corrected with more trades ? Should we have to trade Realmuto ? Did they draft enough offensive players ? How good are the hitting coaches at developing offensive talent ? Track record ?

Giving up 35 runs in 3 games fans the flames of “the Marlins are a AAA team”.

The Marlins have to go 24-47 the rest of the way to win 60 games. That won’t be easy considering the roster and what pieces may be leaving the roster.

Who the f would want Holaday?

Same guys who wanted AJ last year. Playoff teams would rather have a a vet defensive C as a backup than some 23 yr old or career minor league guy.

Its the same with Ziegler-ya he sucks but teams would rather take the chance with him as a 5th option than career minor leaguer.

Lets just hope Samson doesn't run in and tried to veto any trade cause of cash like LY


Fernando Rodney is getting lots of trade action. Maybe we can trade Yamamoto for him then release him in the offseason??

AJ Ellis is an excellent backup catcher. Holaday should be in AAA.

And I also took that back later on, and still believe they will be closer to 35 than 60. You keep wanting to put lipstick on this pig of a season.....not working (and if you've never heard that phrase before.... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lipstick_on_a_pig it's exactly what Jeter is doing and trying to pass this team off as a REAL MLB team...it is a competitive AAA team, but still might not win in the Babycakes league.
