I have to think Prado is playing every day if he's on the roster/not hurt. He did show some signs of life against the Nats. Hopefully he can get hot and we can trade him.

I bring up Campbell, just to play up the fact that yeah you could find a lefty-platoon partner to go with Riddle if you needed to, there's probably a decent one already in the organization right now if you wanted to go down that road.

Campbell has certainly earned it with the AAA slash line. I don't mind it at all as practically, it's hard to imagine someone like Nola/Rivera/Galloway/etc. becoming someone you protect by choice on the 40 man.

Prado makes $20+ million ROS and next year. I think if the Marlins trade him and $17 million dollars straight up, it's a win. That pays for Conley next year.

Realmuto to paternity list, Wallach up. Rucinski on DL, Javy Guerra up. C. Smith transferred to 60-day DL to make room for Guerra on 40-man.

Riddle to me is someone who can be a replacement level starter but ideally would be a utility guy/backup MI. I dont think his bat is good enough to start every day.

dodgers showed preliminary interest in brad ziegler. many pen options out there. but ziegler has 0.86 era since June 1 and provides a different look. #fish

In reality he won't be bringing alot. MAYBE 2 low level prospects(Some 25 yr old AA guy and a DSL maybe?) but just shows ALOT of teams are in. Not bad for someone u couldn't give away last Aug

Straily and Urena are getting some looks and market depends on who else is out there.

Even Castro has been getting looks but nothing close.

Looks like Baltimore is gonna be the 1st domino then a free for all

Possible are Bearclaw,Bour,Straily,Urena
Doubt are JT,Steck,Prado,Castro,Rojas

Not sure if they get any but FO is also said to be looking for more IFA $(presume its for Mesa Brothers when they are made FA?) in trades

Teams have been calling about Derek Dietrich, a good hitter with some versatility. Brewers, Cubs could have interest.

Cubs,Brewers and about 5 AL teams are looking at him. Marlins asking for Mid level prospect atleast

Should be two. Dietrich probably is worth like $40 million over 2 1/2 years in free agency as a give/take 2 WAR bat. After his expected salary over that time, probably around $10 million, you're talking around $30 million in value, and maybe a little less if you put stock that Lomo/Duda/Mouse/Alonso types signed for cheaper then expected this last free agency round (yes I know Dietrich has more positional value then them, but it's still the same basic player type).

He's worth 2 FV45 kind of guys, or maybe 1 FV45 and two FV40 lottery tickets Denbo likes. It's basically a slightly better package then Phelps or Ramos.

That would be fine and is an easy trade to make once the Marlins stop trying to use everyone as leverage to get a bigger name.

I suspect they'll do fine here.

This is what I expect they will get when they deal him. 2 mid level(1 Top 8-15/1 Top 15-20) and "project" arm that they always try to get. 3 for 1

Just saying they are telling teams mid level(Top 8-15 in a system) to start talks

Maybe we can rob Seattle again and go DD for Evan White and a project arm

TOP-Top Prospect in System
Mid Level- Top 10-20 Guy
Low Level-25 yr old in AA or Rookie Ball/DSL type
Project Arm-Could be a Top 25-30 arm or arm they like who is NOT a prospect(Dugger/Castano/Desco/Yamamoto/Lopez types)

Cleveland looking hard at DD. They would also like either Steck,Bearclaw or Conley

Boston is dying for Bearclaw but can't really afford him. Realistic would be Ziegler or Conley. They also like DD but have other options

NYY is looking at Bour,Urena,Straily and our RP

Dodgers and Milwaukee are looking at multiple players but both waiting on Balt

Holaday is getting looks from Mil/Hou/Col/NYY/Oak

JT is still a hot name but feeling is we are keeping him till Winter Meetings unless we get a Top 10 Prospect in BASEBALL
