Reds, Padres, Braves, Rays remain in running for Realmuto. Dodgers not out of it but not as engaged as frontrunning foursome.

They wanna get something done by this weekend which is why talk of "advanced stages". Thought had a deal with Cincy however they did NOT like the medicals of guys(heard Hunter Greene)

SD and Atlanta are the faves at this point BUT TB can move into lead if they will include a McKay/Sanchez and Cincy could still be the team. TB has all the parts for a trade but refuse to include a "centerpiece" type yet

Issue with Atlanta is Miami wants Anderson/Riley or Pache however Atlanta refuses to talk Anderson. Positive is Miami has dropped request for Inciarte or Swanson but still want 3 or 4 prospects

LAD refuses to include May/Lux/Verdugo with Ruiz

SD is IN on Machado and Harper as well.SD will get really aggressive on JT if they get 1 of them . If we do a JT to SD deal will likely be

Mejia/Morejon/OF(Margot/Cordero can play CF and younger while Renfroe/Reyes are corners/1B and power type)/low level MIF prospect

Yep Harper to Philly and Machado to CWS were done deals but when # came out SD called agents and said if thats the price give us a meeting

SD is meeting with Harper tonight and if they feel good about it JT could get down by Sat with SD


Just like when teams "leak" trade details hoping teams will call

"Framework" of what Miami wants are in place. Just waiting for Atlanta/Cincy/SD to say OK. Rays no clue(heard they wouldn't discuss "centerpiece" type)and LAD refuses to talk 2nd "Elite" Prospect(like Houston)

By way "Framework" is JT and pitcher(likely Wittgren but could be Steck/Conley)

Cincy-2 of Trammell/India/Greene,Barnhart,MIF prospect
SD-Mejia,Morejon,ML OF,low level MIF
Atlanta-Anderson,Riley OR Pache,2 other prospects(Wentz/Muller level)

Not sure if Greene is still in because reports are Marlins did NOT like his medicals MAYBE they do Santillan and 2 other prospects?
Not sure what ML OF or low level MIF they want(SD has 4 of each)
Atlanta prefer to trade Wright instead of Anderson and only want to trade 1 other prospect

Teams offers are
Cincy-India/Barnhart/prospects
SD-Mejia/SP and stuff
Atlanta-Wright,Pache,1 prospect

Counterpoints:
1) LAD have best to offer even if it's Ruiz, Downs, Santana or Gonsolin, and Barnes
2) SD's Mejia is likely not a ML catcher. I'd go Hedges, Paddack way over Morejon, and another pitcher
3) If CIN gives up Trammell with Barnhart, that's in the running
4) Wouldn't mess with ATL
5) If TB will make R Hernandez the centerpiece, they have great add-ons like D Lowe, N Lowe, L Fox, N Solak (I think Brujan, McKay, Honeywell, Franco are their untouchables).

I'm just tired of reading about all of this.

And on a practical level, they do need to trade him to get younger more controlled assets so there is that.

I think we're all tired of it. (well except for tj) I'm just not convinced that we won't be playing spring training games, or hell even regular season games before a trade actually happens.
