Unbelievable run we're on especially considering the quality of opponent, and the state of the rotation. Kim unbelievable job, improving the offense at the deadline. Should've added arms as well, but still she has to be given kudos. Is Jazz finally emerging? He's looked like a superstar over the last couple of weeks, he's already a great defensive CF, hitting for big power, and timely power. Just stay healthy man. Who would've thought Tanner Scott would be our most valuable pitcher this year? He has been unbelievable.

Fangraphs was onto Scott before the year so some saw this coming, maybe not full prime Billy Wagner though. He's blowing past his 95th projectile projection which is just outstanding. I've mentioned a few times but he is a legitimate extension candidate for me. He's probably scaled up to 3/$27m at this point and he is worth it. Arraez, Luzardo, Eury, Scott, and Jazz should probably all be extended, with Soler getting a QO or 2 year deal extension himself. Kim will make her money if she can pull out those 6 internal moves plus getting a SS and C without losing any major MLB pitching. If they can somehow pry Willy Adames and Danny Jansen and sign pitchers to replace whatever is traded for them, they will be in serious serious business.
Hopefully now though Robertson and Puk get over the yips as those 3 with Nardi, and maybe Cabrera or Eury get shifted there and they roll with Luzardo, Garret, a healthy enough Sandy, and the other of them, could form a really scary playoff bullpen. Winning 7/12 probably gets them in I imagine.

jake burger's numbers in his first 40 games here are pretty wild. He is on a 4.5 or so WAR pace over 160 games. His 20.9% K rate is almost 9 full percentage points lower than it has been for his career. He's hitting over .300 with a .362 OBP plus the slugging. what a pickup.

Do you realize how far/long people in Los Angeles/New York travel to go to baseball games?
It used to take us an hour and 40 minutes to drive to Dodger games.
When I lived near Poughkeepsie, NY, it took almost 2 hours to go to a Met game.
There is zero travel time excuse for a Marlins fan who lives in Broward County to not attend 2 or 3 games a year.
2 or 3. Out of 162 games.
