glad we brought wendle in for his defense to literally immediately make an error. hampson was doing great defensively. What exactly is wendle bringing to put him in the game right now? If we're going to replace berti, which im fine with, why not DLC?

i get making the change here but i woud have left nardi in. hopefully it works out. Im guessing its for scott to go for the strikeout and just get rid of the chance that a ball in play drops in an unlucky manner. Let the record reflect that defensive substitution joey wendle made an error to make this entire inning happen. he is also hitting sub .600 OPS. why the fuck was he brought into the game?

that extension lou brought up a month or so ago 3 years 18-21 million makes so much sense for scott. he deserves it. maybe he blows back up, but it's worth it. might just be a breakout guy.

So many extension candidates- arraez, luzardo, garrett, eury, jazz, scott. Big offseason for bruce. time to show some vision and sign these guys early.

jake eder btw has been sent to the developmental list because of how bad he has been since he got to the white sox system. and burger is dirt cheap for a while. havent had a 3b since fucking mike lowell. what a trade.

this is why you dont play like a fucking coward and move onto the next series and rest luzardo tomorrow. now you got your best remaining pitcher on the bump tomorrow vs a team with nothing to play for and likely a rested Acuna among others and go for a sweep. i would have taken scott out now and saved him for tomorrow but knowing skip the 1 pitch for scott after pitching yesterday would have had him off limits tomorrow anyways. gonna need the bats to stay awake for tomorrow. Huge series.
