Stallings is terrible. There are no advanced stats that can indicate a turnaround. He looks like a pitcher up at bat.

If even an iota of his value was derived from the comfort Sandy and Cabrera have with him behind the plate, that has to be out the window given their performances this year. Would they be pitching worse if fortes or any random catcher was back there?

Personally, I loved watching Jazz play 2B, Attached is an article from last December discussing a Mullins for Lopez trade. Mullins in CF, some power and speed, I like it a lot more than Jazz in CF and Arraez at second.

Despite his injury yesterday in CF, I think that's his ideal spot. He was too inconsistent of a fielder to play SS, playing 2nd base helped hide those deficiencies and he was fine there, but I think he really has gold glove potential in CF as he gets more comfortable.

I really think a Jesus/Burdick platoon is going to work for the club long term at one of the corner OF spots. So you have Jazz CF, Arraez 2B or 1B. Sanchez/Burdick Corner OF. Only need to fill the other 6 spots. lol

Id really like to see Xavier Edwards up here and getting a lot of playing time to see if he can become anything. He’s back to what he was in the rays system already. It would require maneuvering but move Cooper to dh full time when he’s healthy, soler plays some of, and then you only have 1 corner outfield spot to figure out between Sanchez when he gets healthy, burdick, and dlc. Now that Sanchez is on the dl, they should be giving burdick a lot more run
