idk if we have what it takes to get them but getting goldschmidt, knizner/herrera, and gallegos/stratton in a trade would make us a legitimate contender i think. They desperately need 1 more big bat in the middle of the order to drive in runs. Combine that with Soler, jazz coming back, and DLC when he is hot along with Arraez and that is a really good offense.

is there a chance meyer can get back and get some innings to end the year? He had his surgery on august 9th last year so some september action wouldnt be crazy. At the very least he will have more than enough time to be ready for next year.

From what I've seen/read he's a guy that's still trying to find a position. Looks like he's been playing 3B lately, if he were to find playing time that would seem like the place he'd find it. Also, his overall BABIP for the year is .356 and he's got a .946 OPS. Yes he needs to prove it for longer at AAA IMO, but he's a guy who could get a look very soon, like I mentioned he needs to be put on the 40-man by the end of the year or they lose him.Comment
