Cabrera gave up 15 ER in his last six starts (25 IP). Shouldn't be hard for Hoeing to match or better that.

It's actually 31.2 IP and 14 ER over last 6 starts.... which does create a significant change because that's a 3.97 ERA during this span. Which I mean, you take all day for literally any pitcher on the Marlins not named Sandy. Cabrera has basically had 3 bad appearances and 11 good enough or great ones. This isn't one to bitch about Lee. Edward is good and turning into a real asset.

Hoeing does look a lot better though. Hopefully he can throw a dozen 4 inning appearances here on out as they will need that absent a trade for another arm.

I just get frustrated because I have 3 friends in real life that constantly bitch about the lack of attendance whenever the subject is the Marlins.

None of the 3 ever go to Loan Depot even though all 3 are baseball fans.

i agree. i wish they just built the stadium right next to hard rock. They have really cut off so many games from fans in broward and palm beach, where i think the majority of the fan base is from. It is so much easier to get there for me than to go to little havana. When they played at hard rock i would go to 20 games a year. Going the extra 30-45 minutes depending on traffic to miami is a tough ask for me. It almost impossible for me on week days. With the quicker pace i really hope they move the start times back to 7:10 next year.

I also havent gone in a few years because i shit you not i think they have lost 15 straight games that i have attended. The last game i went to where they won was a game against the mets when it was jose vs either degrom or syndergaard. That's how long it's been.

Im not asking for it to be sold out obviously, i just want to start seeing some 15k games during the week and some 25k games during the weekend if they can get into august in the hunt. Probably unlikely though.

bottom 5 in the order today is cooper, wendle, berti, stallings, and davis. We need a trade. Also, get edwards up here already. He is super talented and ready to contribute. At the very least he can give you more than davis and hampson can and he has earned the opportunity. there is nothing left for him to do at AAA

Yeah, the Miami traffic in the middle of rush hour to get to a game for anyone in Broward sucks. I used to go to a fair amount of Friday games after work since I wasn't far from the park, but now I work in Pompano....I'm not overly inclined to sit in an hour plus of traffic to get to a game.

hard rock was the perfect location because it was kind of in the middle of everyone. No more than 30-45 minutes for anyone in the tri county area. Plus, because it's not in the middle of any major city getting in and out is easy as hell. Because they had to build the stadium so far south they cut off ease of access for anyone outside of miami dade county.

Planning on utilizing the Brightline Orlando to Miami in one of the 2 weekend series' in September since Orlando to Miami starts September 1st. Go to a couple of games. It's not cheap, but I thought I'd try it out, should be a fun weekend for me and the wife.

Dlc down to .738 ops on the year. Might have eaten my crow too early on him. He is way too inconsistent but when he’s on it’s fun to watch. Has no business being the consistent number 3 hitter on a contender though. We need to get a bat or two at the deadline

Jon berti just being himself and putting up a high .600s ops with a solid glove and some speed that can wreak havoc at 3b is not spectacular yet such an upgrade on what segura has provided so far this year

12,226 attendance tonight. Probably one of the highest they’ve had for a weekday against a non premium opponent in a while. I hope they keep this up. I desperately want to see this team start bringing some major crowds out. It’s such a great loud atmosphere when it’s packed. Can’t remember the last time the upper deck was even open for a normal game

If Hoeing is next in line from Anderson, Thompson, Bender, Pop, etc. that would be really outstanding. 3+ innings from him once a week in a burst would be perfect. No idea how they manage all these arms when everyone is healthy as 16-17 should be up with the club at this point. And that's not including Eder and Lee's aces Monteverde and Maldonado. Good times.
