Yeah, Brinson can hit minor league pitching ... he does it every spring. But he absolutely, unequivocably, can't handle big league pitching. If he brought special defense to the OF, maybe you give him another month of at bats ... but he doesn't do that either.

I'd honestly prefer to do a major shake up:
-Nothing prospects for W. Myers, A. Morejon/R. Weathers, O. Miller, and at least $10-15 million
-Move Rojas, Urena, and Cooper to White Sox (all make sense for them) for Z. Collins, and 2+ FV40 prospects not close to 40 man
-DFA Wallach or Sierra, and get another backup veteran infielder for a year until hopefully Miller is ready fast (he hits lefties hard, ideal 2B/SS backup)
-Even better if you DFA both and then sign Puig
Influx of lefties and lefty killers, and you've only added around $30+ million of Myers with getting 3-5 good prospects, and 1 of them elite (the SD lefty).
I am beating a dead horse and maybe this is a deadline move, but they have some real opportunities to do some nice short and longterm things if they take on a little salary risk and move some of the MLB depth.

The one way I disagree, though, is I say if he rakes in Spring again, you give him one last chance on the big team. And if he utterly fails again, bye bye.
