I'm just thinking something like this. O'Grady is obviously the least important name here and could easily be replaced by anyone who gets out lefties. He has a clear path to this role though, as the organization is pretty low of lefties. Maybe I'm just hopeful, but this is a real nominal concern.
Guzman (stud)
Steckenrider (stud)
Wittgren (good 3rd-5th guy out of bullpen)
Merandy (think fastball/slider plays up here and should be a plus reliever, or exchange for a guy from below)
Gallen/Yamamoto/Lopez/Hernandez/Richards/Meyer (the SP flameout "long man")
1st LHP - TBD, don't have this guy yet in organization to me. Ideally comes back from Castro/Bour/Dietrich/Straily/etc.???
Garcia/Peters/Ca. Smith (the lefty "long man" SP flameout)
O'Grady (the LOOGY)

Honestly I don't know what you expect Prado to be when he gets back, but good chance he's not the player he was 2 years ago. It will still be a bad offense. If Brinson somehow turns it on and becomes the player we thought he would be this year, we might be ok, but until then we're gonna be bad.

He’s going to be just fine and he is a beast defensively.

Also, i agree some of it has been luck to an extent and i didnt watch yesterdays game cause i was disappointing myself by watching the heat game but he hasnt been making great contact a lot. I think he only needs to be an .800 + ops guy to be a star. Similar to buxton and other guys like that who dont have the best bat but their defense combined with a quality bat make them a really good player. Adam Eaton and Lorenzo cain to some extent as well. I think we end up getting 3 really good position players from that trade and it ends up looking really good in a few years even with as good as yelich is.

why would you hope that? all that does is make them even more impossible to trade and its not like they are blocking any prospects from playing by having them play.

1. The .200 number is the result of not a lot of hard contact.
2. This doesn’t take into account the complete lack of power so far.
His defense has been good though.

That’s a silly way to look at .BABIP.
