Cloyd, who was scheduled to start in AAA today, will assume the Turner role in case Richards is shelled early. Key for Trevor: just don't walk anybody. BTW, Wittgren appears to be ready to replace Cloyd tomorrow.

Trevor Richards is a great example of why minor league statistics don’t tell the whole story, Lee Stone. You think this guy and Dillon Peters are better than Urena.

You place too much emphasis on minor league statistics. They're nice, but a pitcher needs to have good stuff to pitch in the big leagues too. Sometimes a good minor league pitcher is just a good minor league pitcher.

You believed that Richards and Peters would be successful up here even though they have mediocre stuff. There's a reason why scouting is still a job.

peters has better than mediocre stuff but Richards doesnt. both might be destined for the bullpen long term though.

its a relievers repertoire but his curveball is legit. He would be a good potential future closer.

Peters and Richards have excellent changeups but need to throw them more often ... to the point where hitters are looking for them.

Peters can't command his fastball is his problem. Richards change up is good and his fast ball is nothing. Its a batting practice fastball.

i know he would need to be added to the 40 man but i wish they would put van slyke on the team and let lee continue to get everyday AB's in New Orleans. Lee isnt ML ready and Van slyke would give the team a little more pop since it seems we desperately lack it.

Also, whats the deal with all the injured guys coming back? havent heard a thing on them since opening day.

JT and Strailey is all i care about. Prado really doesn't have a spot except utility off the bench. Anderson has been good.
