Gotta imagine Realmuto ends up leading off
Also think Brinson will be in the minors until July - buy enough time down there to a) get seasoned and b) get an extra year of controlOriginally posted by Madman81Most of the people in the world being dumb is not a requirement for you to be among their ranks.

one thing brinson also has going for him according to someone frisaro retweeted is that he has been incredibly unlucky which is normal in such a small sample size.

#Marlins youngster Lewis Brinson has caught more eyes in the field so far, but don't sleep on his bat.
Brinson's .214 wOBA is a full 139 points lower than his .353 *expected* wOBA (#Statcast's quality of contact metric) -- one of the biggest gaps in MLB so far. (CC @JoeFrisaro)

You’re worse than Mike Hill.

Lee ( despite playing a 122-game minor league schedule) led all of basebal with 18 assists last season. The major league leader had 16.

As for Braxton Lee, I wouldn’t mind him playing some more. It just seems like you base your opinions on small samples (or, even worse, Spring Training stats). The reality is that none of these guys should be leading off on a real team. But since we decided to keep Brinson up here in an irrelevant year, I don’t mind him getting the most at bats since he’s our best prospect. Lee can’t hit either, so who cares? And the Isaac Galloway ideas you have make no sense.

Would really like to see Nick Williams in RF for Marlins. With a logjam in Philly's OF, he may well be available.Last edited by Lee Stone; 04-07-2018, 10:03 AM.

Braxton Lee is 5'10 180 on a good day!! Has a solid arm and good speed but is best a 4th OF.
His #1 tool is his bat/contact. Makes good contact but has NO power
Lewis Brinson is 6'5 220 and has 5 tool stuff.
His worst tool is his bat/contact. Tons of power but contact is iffy
