So cooper goes from day to day to 60 day DL. why does this franchise never get it right with injuries? Im guessing there has to be some sort of break in his hand.

I'd rather have Lee than a 30 year old journeyman or a guy like Galloway that has been in the organization for 11 years. Van Slyke is also a better option that has some pop

Lee is being overrated. He might be a major leaguer at some point, but he's not good enough to go from AA last year to a big leaguer this year with no time in AAA. let him face more advanced pitching there and show his worth.

SVS isnt on the 40 man and Schuck is, right? That's where i believe this move stems from. We really need these guys to get healthy soon. The timetables for all of these injuries have been so terrible. JT, Riddle, Straily, Wittgren were all supposed to be up already. Hernandez suffered a setback in his rehab start with a cracked finger nail so thats why he isnt back yet.

I dont think he played, but he was supposedly day to day and they didnt even put him on the dl immediately. Youve got that, Straily was supposed to be just day to day, JT was supposed to be back in spring let alone still not close, Riddle was just supposed to be building arm strength back, and Wittgren was supposed to be ready quickly after the spring ended.

Well I know they aren't rushing any guys back this year. They want guys healthy by trade deadline and are happy tanking too

Yeah Cooper was hit in that 17 inning game against the Cubs. He appeared in the next 2 games, picking up 3 ABs. Then he hasn't been seen from since.
