Another day, another 2-4 outing with a home run for Xavier Edwards. This is completely unacceptable at this point. He has no business being in aaa. There has not been a single move this team has made for over a month that has made any fucking sense.

glad they kept eury down for over a month while our season went to shit so our so called billionaire owner can save money 5 years from now. And if his rehab start is any indication it might take some time for him to get back in rhythm again. Just genius roster management for a full month to let the season go to shit. Still no rational explanation as to why Skip has singlehandedly helped try to blow 3 games in the last week either between pulling Sandy, putting Smeltzer in a close game where he got lucky it worked out, and then leaving weathers in to get absolutely tanked and lose us a game where we scored 8 runs. Or why edwards cant sniff the fucking major league roster when he is having one of the best minor league seasons our franchise has ever seen in AAALast edited by fish16; 08-07-2023, 08:27 AM.

jacob berry really starting to have a nice year in AA. first 12 games, .771 OPS, 2 hr's after 4 all year in beloit, another 2 doubles, a triple, and 3 steals. Every single number is higher so far than it was in A+. Might it be time to start looking at beloit like we looked at Jupiter for all those years as a pitchers paradise?

updated edwards numbers, hitting .373, .925 OPS, 29/32 steals, just set his career high with 6 hr's, 40 walks, just 19 k's, in 353 PA's. It is inconceivable that he is not up here. I dont care if he sucks on defense, he needs to be at SS every day and giving some juice to the top of this lineup along with Arraez.
Soler has been mediocre for over a month and DLC has had 1 good month all year. Let Soler, DLC, and Sanchez split the 2 corner OF spots every game, move bell to DH, Arraez to 1b, and Edwards to 2b every day. Or cut the shit with berti and wendle and let him play every day at SS. What the fuck are we doing? How can this guy be this fucking good for this fucking long and he is still just going 4-5 every damn game in AAA while we watch some of the worst SS play you will ever see? It's not like he has platoon splits either. He has fucking crushed both lefties and righties. He's hitting .409!!!! against lefties, and .358 against righties. There is not a single rational explanation for why he is still in AAA. It has been absurd for over a month now. and we still have joey fucking wendle weakly grounding out every time at bat.
He is 18-26 in August. 18-26!!!! He's got 2 homers, 5 walks, and a single strikout. I ask again, what in the flying fuck is Kim NG doing with this roster where he is not up here?Last edited by fish16; 08-07-2023, 08:42 AM.

will banfield is now hitting .273 with a .784 OPS and 15 hr's in 83 games. The walk rate is way too low for him to become a full time major league player at this point, but this is so far above anything he had done in the past in the minor leagues. I would definitely give him AAA for a few months before they try him in the majors though. He's still just 23 even though it feels like he has been in the system for 8 years.
