Immediately stranding two in scoring position with one out in the top of the first and then weathers immediately looking terrible yet again means no fucking chance I stay up for this game. This will be a blow out

Weathers stinks. Might be good in the future, but currently, he’s flat out bad. Not a major league pitcher. Next time through the rotation needs to be Cabrera

Weathers needs to be back in Jacksonville, in the pen, drop the mediocre slider that hitters never bite at, keep working on his admittedly good change-up(well, not good so much as "could be good") and fight for a spot in the pen as a power arm next ST.

I loved the Weathers pickup. (And still do quite frankly) but I’m completely flabbergasted that they apparently thought he could help them now.

By far the most predictable loss of the season ends 6-2

The Front Office gets a grade of F in the Judgement category. 10 year old children watching at home knew Weathers would have a terrible outing.

of course. maybe he has a luzardo type turnaround eventually, but luzardo had initial success at the big league level. Weathers looks like he needs another full year or close to it in the minors. I would have rather seen us try to piece together something like Hoeing and even castano again before they put weathers, who isnt very good in the first place, up against the team that knows him better than anyone.

I think you might be right him being a multi-inning reliever. Which is fine if he's good.

Pure speculation but watching Skip’s postgame comments, my money is on he had NO INPUT into the decision to start Weather’s last night.

Yeah, I don't understand what they've been doing. It's almost like they're actively trying to not win. And I purposely didn't say lose, because I don't think they're trying to lose, but they're not putting their best foot forward to win, either...
