Brian Anderson has hadobvious injury issues the last few years, but the dude can hit. He’s not a star, but he needs to have an everyday role as a hitter at one position or another. With our lineup issues, a guy who is consistently .800 ops is needed everyday

It’s obvious to me that some of their (MLB leading) 17 one run losses were due to luck (Tanner Scott bad pitch to Phillies with 2 outs and 2 strikes comes to mind).
I’m not saying they’re a true 87 win team (as you predicted in the Spring) but they’re not a true train wreck team like they were in May either.

I still think this team can make the playoffs if they go out and ship out a prospect or 2 for a good reliable closer, I just don't view the blown leads thus far as luck as opposed to exactly what you could have predicted on opening day with the lack of a closer in the bullpen.

what exactly does brian anderson have to do to be moved up in the lineup and take aguilar's spot? Aguilar has been flatly mediocre all year and Anderson has been very productive when healthy, why is he not getting more ab's in the heart of the order?

Hopefully sandy can get through the 8th and we can tack on a few more so we don’t have to count on him to go all 9 again. At some point I worry about overworking him even though he has shown no signs of any fatigue and he might just be a ridiculous workhorse
