Frisaro wrote an article about the JT situation. It's Frisaro, so we probably should take it with a grain of salt, but the first team he focuses on is the Dodgers. The part that stands out the most to me is he said Bellinger has been mentioned as a guy Miami wants from LA. I actually read that in a Dodgers blog, but dismissed it. Frisaro bringing it up as well means there's at least a chance that it's true. I don't see the Dodgers including him at all, but that's interesting that Miami might actually be looking for some ML players, and not just prospects.

It's the minor league catchers for sure. I'm fine with either one.

Yankees just got Paxton also, so the dominos are starting to fall. Maybe there is some movement pre-40 man decisions.

Bellinger was nothing but the musing of an LA radio host. Frisaro apparently read it ... and gees ... believed it. Here's the origin: https://dodgerblue.com/mlb-trade-rum...st/2018/11/16/Last edited by Lee Stone; 11-19-2018, 06:34 PM.

Miami asked for Verdugo,May and a C. LAD said NO thanks which is why u see Mish have them low on the list

They just traded for Mills, I can't imagine they expose him. I think he'll end up on there with Quijada. Schales too. He was a 2014 draft pick.

Marlins just claimed a pitcher named J. Fernandez. https://www.fangraphs.com/statss.asp...347&position=P
Talk about having the worst possible name for a Marlins pitcher even if his name is Julian. Coming off a TJ, was a top Rule V pick last year, and the Marlins can probably stash him on the 60 man DL come opening day. Smart stash.
Updated 40 man projection:
SP - Urena, Chen, Straily, Alcantara, Lopez, Ca. Smith (6)
RHP - Brigham, M. Gonzalez, Graves, Guerrero, E. Hernandez, J. Fernandez, Meyer, T. Kinley, Richards, Steckenrider, Wittgren, Yamamoto (12)
LHP - Conley, Garcia, Peters, Mills, Quijada (5)
C - Realmuto (1)
IF - Anderson, Castro, Cooper, Diaz, Dietrich, O’Brien, Prado, Riddle, Rojas, Schales, C. Torres (11)
OF -Brinson, Dean, Harrison, Lee, Sierra (5)
=40 (the non-Guzman version, kick off Kinley if he has to go on)
Top unprotected: Rivera, Twine, the other Kinley, Poteet, Wallach, Galloway, Norwood, etc.

Coming OFF TJ which means he probably won't be pitching to June but nice add. Surprised we don't do this with Brett Graves-try to waive him and send him to minors
23 6'6 205lbs Coming off TJ but threw 100+(hits 103 alot) and was a closer in the minors. Has NO Control and Not much in terms of off speed stuff
He will need to be on the ML roster for atleast 90 days in 2019
