Also, how the fuck didn’t they move Aguilar or Okurt? Pop and Bass being the only moves is another signal that Ng has trouble getting deals across the line.

Pablo is controlled 2 years. If the deals offered sucked it’s a pass. Mahle deal was bad and we would be mad. This isn’t the end of the off-season and spring training tomorrow my dudes
aguilar sucks and will be on waivers
Im surprised they didn’t get a bite on Floro/Okert, Cooper, and maybe some deal for Berti/Wendle/rojas. But it’s fine. Everyone has CONTROL

I wonder what they were being offered for Scott/Okert though. Have to imagine those guys had some value, and I feel like at least one of them should’ve been moved just like they moved Bass. Relievers/left-handed relievers usually have value at the trade deadline.
And fat clown Aguilar better not take playing time away from Lewin these next two months.

When we made that Jazz-Gallen trade it really felt like it was the start of something. Using that pitching capital to build an offense. 3 years later, and we haven't seen another deal like that. This Front Office has no sense of urgency despite the fact we're 5 years into this disastrous ownership regime.

what if Cabrera looks good and they 1-1 Jazz him somewhere and keep Pablo this offseason
The same thing has then just happened. Pitching for a bat, and the Marlins kept the better pitcher in his prime gunning for a huge FA deal
perspective
or Cabrera gets hurt again and you REALLY need Pablo
