Man, Morrison's approach is so ridiculous right now I wonder what he could do with a callup.

What is the topic? It begins with the Marlins inquiring about some guy and turns into, hey, this guy is on that team, lets get him too, ok, then we would just have to throw in one top level prospect and some Chris Seddons, ok, while we're at it, we could flip the one guy we get and get even more from other teams because players on our team are always the most valuable commodities in the world so we can get the most from other teams for players and not give up much because our players are worth so much and other players arent until they are on our team, etc. etc.

You're forgetting who is going after him. This is classic Beinfest/Loria.

The Marlins are a bit more open to trading Rick VandenHurk than guys like Sean West and Andrew Miller.

ESPN.com reports that the Padres have been denied Sean West and Andrew Miller of the Marlins farm system as trade pieces in a deal involving closer Heath Bell.

This certainly confirms that Bell is on the market, and it looks like it will take a near major league-ready arm to get him. He has 48 strikeouts in 40.1 innings to go with 25 saves and a 2.01 ERA.
You know what the difference between Jeremy Lin and Tim Tebow is?... Jeremy Lin is probably a good Quarter Back.

They still could be talking about that however seems we have moved onto West into a Halladay deal

                        according to Dan leBatard's show

the padres offered adrian and bell for stanton, maybin, and miller

that very creditable, but out there

Hmm...very, very tempting. I like the fact that we don't have to give up West.

Come on; you have to at least think about it if Adrian Gonzalez is in that deal.
