I like Coghlan just as much as Headley... probably more. I doubt we could even get Headley. This deal blows.

Gammons was just on ESPN and said we were in on Lee and we contacted the Padres about Gonzo and Bell and asked the Nats about Nick Johnson.

Gonzo and Bell would be nice. Would definitely include Miler, West, + more.

I would guess Morrison would be in there too.

                I'd probably do that.

I wonder if Gonzo can play LF. Eh. Probably not.

would West, CC, Miller, Morrison, low-level prospect be enough?
                    For Bell and Gonzo

I don't think they'd trade both young pitchers and any of the big 3 (Morrison,Stanton and to a lesser extent Doming)

He's a GG caliber 1B. I think it'd be silly to move him. Cantu at 3B and he looks better just because of Gonzo's defense.

"We're in on Bell and they are willing to take Andrew Miller and another prospect or two"

This made me giggle a bit

                              Bell/Gonzalez for Morrison/Miller or West/Sanabia/Smolinski

I would do that, but my God we would need to trade for a SP.

The comparisons of these two lineups are retarded, unfortunately so is the FO's love for Boner so I don't think it happens.
