Pujolsapalooza: Multiple Reports - 10 Year Contract with Angels

Baseball’s winter meetings start a week from today, and chances are many a deal will go down. But one deal I’m not expecting is Albert Pujols to the Marlins.
A handful of former baseball industry people tell me their hunches are that Pujols will return to St. Louis. That same sentiment has been expressed by current executives, too.
The Marlins still hope to sign Jose Reyes and either Mark Buehrle or C.J. Wilson — and it’s also possible they’ll try to sign both left-handed pitchers.
The Marlins hosted Wilson today in Miami and owner Jeffrey Loria made it clear that he wants Wilson in the Marlins’ starting rotation next year.
Wherever Albert goes, the deal will be worked out with his agent Dan Lozano.
Albert told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch that he will not change representation in response to an online report that used unnamed sources to allege his agent was involved in sordid activities.
“I am absolutely staying with Danny as my agent,” Pujols said when reached in Hawaii while on a family vacation.

Says Pujols most likely destination is Miami if he doesn't end up going back to St. Louis.
