Was at the game yesterday. Really fun game and my first game at Fenway. Brutal ending though. Such is the life of a Marlins fan. Mattingly leaving Guerrero in there for 40 pitches after he clearly didn't have it after 2 pitches and just long enough to not only blow the lead but for them to take the lead back was infuriating.

As for mattingly, he is a truly awful manager. It might not matter this year or maybe even next, but he should not be the manager when we hopefully are back in contention. It really should not be as hard to find a manager who knows how to go by the numbers as it is. Mattingly's use of the bullpen has been truly horrific all year. His decisions seem like they are coming from spring games where there is a predetermined list of who is pitching today and when and never deviating from it.Last edited by fish16; 08-29-2018, 09:17 AM.

Got an email today....said the "fan experience" at Marlins Park will be "enhanced".
So I bit and went to the website, and this is what it says.....
In 2019, Marlins Park will be the go-to destination for a first-class entertainment experience.
The street to seat experience will be enhanced by elevating the fan journey every step of the way; parking, safety and a standout game experience. We're infusing an authentic sense of Comunidad by introducing new Miami-centric additions to the ballpark.
Art within the ballpark perimeter will be accentuated, highlighting what is already being showcased along with introducing new art additions to the interior and exterior of the ballpark.

Wow I can't wait to go see even more "art" at the ballpark. So glad they are spending money on things that help us win games......

It sounds as though they're going to reconfigure parts of the park and add new concession options and things too.

They're not fool proof, but theyre at least doing a ton of stuff to behave like a well run team in a small market should be run, and the off the field stuff will take years to build a rapport with fans like the heat have been able to achieve.

Could see DD/Castro gone over next 2 days. Doubtful on Castro
Mid Level Prospect and IFA $(if team has any left) could get DD
Guess we'll see.
