Jumping on opportunities to maximize value in trades.

Specifically the relievers (Barraclough and Ziegler especially as I think a reasonable argument can be made for keeping Steck and Conley)

Can't really be both way.s
Im just very concerned that we left too much until the day of the deadline to the point where we inevitably wont trade a few guys because we waited for the perfect deal. That could be solved however if we combine a few guys in some deals, but again its probably just best to wait until after the deadline to evaluate what we did.

Maybin and Ziegler/Conley? Or i could see them going after Granderson and a reliever from the jays. We'll see.
No need to move them unless it's a great deal.

Barraclough and Ziegler however need to be dealt.

Yankees getting Lance Lynn. Would likely take them out of the picture for Straily if they were even involved at all. I think they end up trading Straily in the winter. doesnt seem to be a great market and he hasnt had a great year.

I still think, as i said in the offseason, the goal is to be hovering around .500 next year and then a playoff/wild card contender every year after that.

Brian Anderson has been so encouraging this year. Im trying to come up with a player comp but I cant think of one off the top of my head. He is a damn solid starter going forward. The type of hitter every team can use. Probably shouldnt be a #3/4 hitter but as a #5/6 hitter in a lineup he is a really nice piece moving forward.
