He isnt a K guy. He is a pitch to contact/no walks guy but ya he should have got something against DeGrom

So far I'm more impressed by Lopez than Alcantara. At least he's attacking the strike zone and the fastball is quality. His secondary stuff seems to need some work so he can get some more swings and misses.

Awesome win. That Anderson homer sure was sweet, and damn the Mets had absolutely no chance against Barraclough in the 9th.

Solid debut from Lopez as well.

That was a fun game. Really nice start from Lopez, some timely hitting against a tough pitcher, and good work from the 'pen. Nice to win the series with one to go.

Alcantara probably has better pure stuff. His changeup was pretty good last night.
Lopez is more of a pitcher. Was 92-94 & locates well. Also mixed in some good offspeed pitches, especially later in the start.

I think Lopez is more big league ready than Alcantara.

Pretty much this. Alcantara has all the potential, but Lopez is the kind of guy with more predictability and major league longevity. I'll take a Lopez kind of pitcher over Alcantara any day.

This. Alcantara has a better arm but tries to get fancy. Lopez throws strikes and looks for contact. He is made for Marlins Park

Gallen and Neidert are same as Lopez-they both throw strikes and look for contact. They are fine with 400 ft fly outs and don't nibble on corners or anything

Cleveland still sniffing around our guys especiallly Bearclaw/Steck

Miami would love to get Mejia but seems willing to take a package led by Triston McKenzie OR Nolan Jones.They have 2 solid young SS(Castro/Chang) and 2 power bats who K alot(Benson/Bradley). "Project"(U know throw in SP we try to get in every deal) arms they have are Sam Hentges or Elijah Morgan

Yep they have some very interesting guys so I could see us doing something with them BUT we are not giving either of them away.

If they can get McKenzie or Jones you do it fast. McKenzie had some forearm problems earlier this season so some caution there. But yeah for A reliever they are great.

I think there is no way we end up getting McKenzie for bearclaw, but if you can you do it as soon as possible
