Morosi reports LAD are in on our RP as well. Again IF they get a guy like Mejia or Keibert Ruiz in an offer they would jump fast on it but they are not in any rush to trade Bearclaw,Steck or Conley

Red Sox also in on our RP. They have guys we are into like Swihart,CJ Chatham,Bryan Mata,Roniel Raudes,Jhonathon Diaz but ALOT of teams could beat their offers for our Top 3 guys. More realistic trade would be for Ziegler and DD

Anybody heard anything on Urena? Is Elieser Hernandez still in the rotation? I'm going to the game on Thursday in DC, it'd be cool if I got to see Alcantara or Lopez. I'm thinking it could be Urena though coming back off the DL.

Keeping barraclough would be beyond stupid and I hope they choose more wisely than to keep the easiest thing in the game to find, specifically because of how many guys we have in our system who at worst will be good to great reliever so

Ive seen more than 3 names, but next year would be the year to start worrying about IFA. we got a really late start with the new regime with most of these guys.

Yep. Nothing has changed from pre-season in this regard.

Realmuto, Bour, Castro, Rojas, Prado, Dietrich, Maybin, Straily, Urena, Barraclough, and Ziegler all can go. Obviously need to get some big time compensation for Realmuto, and a pretty good haul for Barraclough and Urena given the years of their control left.

I think they should keep Steckenrider and Conley though. They have more years of control with them and could be top 8 organizational relievers next 4 years. Got to start somewhere and on the 25 man roster. I like to think Brinson, Anderson, Alcantara, Steckenrider, and Conley are 5 pieces on the team in 2021. 20 more to go.

Brinson did hit .267/.301/.547 (.848) in June, disgusting 4/25 BB/K though. Progress nonetheless. Hopefully he figures out to relatively keep the average (at least .250), double the walks, keep the defense, and get better on the base paths. That's a pretty good player if he does it.

Maybe a less speed-more power BJ Upton is a comp. A terribly frustrating player, who did average over a 3 WAR for his 6 year prime. I'll take that for sure.

This franchise will forever be a joke until there’s a long-term plan in place where they’re building around players like J.T. Realmuto. At some point, you have to keep your own players.

Barraclough can go though. He’s a reliever and he’ll probably never be this good again anyway. Sell high.
