Is it me, or do the marlins have 3 guys in the lineup at around .800 OPS (Anderson .831, JT .889, Bour .803, Dietrich .792) and none have them have been hot for the same time at all this year?

You know Jeter has been dying to open that thing more. I almost went to the game last night. I would have been so pissed sweating my balls off. It was REALLY humid yesterday especially.

I know, but aside from maybe a random day or two going forward, it's way too humid out now with the storms every day to have it open beyond this point of the year.

I get the desire to have it open and to have it open as much as possible, but people don't want to sit and sweat for hours.

Interesting read for sure. As many of us suspected, sounds like a cleaning house of the front office will be coming over the rest of the season and the offseason.

I just find it weird that they decided to clean house on the roster first and then clean house in the front office 2nd. The only reason you would gut the roster first is if you're in dire financial straits, right? Which isn't good. You would think you'd want the front office in place so you know you're getting back the players you want, and not the players the previous administration wants.

I agree, though the ultimate decision (I would assume) likely came from the new guys at the top........but yeah, that'd trickle down to getting the type of info you want from "your guys".
