Offensively this may be the worst Marlins team ever......it's putrid. How's that Project Wolverine going Derek ? It's a fraud to charge customers $$ to watch this team. Lowe the prices more in line with a AAA franchise, because that is the quality of team that is playing in Marlins Park reasonably compars too.

this has to do with service time too. its always been because he isnt ML ready and it is criminal to have him up here rather than sending him down for 6 weeks to get the extra year.

Levels of disappointment at the first quarter mark. Huge: Dietrich on pace for a season of a dozen walks and 140 whiffs. We didn't quite see that coming. Brinson, of course. Big: Steckenrider's recent fall. Straily's slow start ... and Chen's ... and Tazawa's. Hopes for ridding them from the roster via any trades have faded from dim to black. Significant: Contributions from reserves. Wallach, Telis, B. Lee, Shuck and Rivera.Last edited by Lee Stone; 05-15-2018, 09:25 AM.

-Brinson is self explanatory - he shouldn't have been here in the first place, even if for service time reasons alone (production aside).
-Chen has barely pitched at all the last two years, and is nearing his limit and season ending injuring this year.
-Tazawa wasn't good last year, nobody expected him to be this year. Better, perhaps, but didn't expect much.
-To expect much out of that terrible group of reserves is stupid, I can't count them as disappointments, as they shouldn't be here either.
