Ya right. But I think paying JT and then seeing the continued development from prospects like we've seen thus far this month will eventually let the hostility subside eventually. Probably will take until next year though. We seem to have rebuild the depth in the system very well though since last years draft. Really fucking annoying though that Loria's dumbass couldnt see the need for organizational depth despite years upon years of entire seasons being ruined based on 1-2 key injuries.

i see maddawg only posts when we lose btw. on pace for 47 wins now after this major winning streak and fangraphs still has us at 64. Making a huge charge in the NL east too, just 9 out, only 7.5 out of the wild card!!! can you feel the playoff excitement?
I only visit this board when I have the time, not everyday because you...well I'll hold jugment on that How about the loss tonight....not on that 47 game pace still are they ?
I interpreted it as you watched this game and you decided he has to go down. This was like his 10th best game as a Marlin at the plate. Moving on.......
I know we both agree he should have never started the season in the bigs. In a year where we have no chance of winning 80 games, they decide to start this guys clock. Unreal.
After last season Brinson has pretty much nothing to learn in the minors. If the team was competing I'd say find a solution that could produce, but it's better for the team long term for Brinson to learn his mistakes in the majors over the course of the entire season.

I think you're not realizing that his stats are pretty severely inflated given that Milwaukee's AAA team plays in Colorado Springs and is a notorious hitters paradise. Granted it was the year before in 2016, but that year he went from OPS.'ing .711 In Texas' AA affiliate to OPS.'ing 1.005 (albeit in a limited sample) in Colorado Springs. It was obvious in spring despite the good numbers that he was going to struggle with plate discipline and that he wasn't ready yet. Not even to mention how asinine it was (And still is) to not send him down for a month to get the service time under control.
To me right now he just looks lost and he looks like he's not going up to the plate aggressive like he needs to be. And mattingly isnt doing him any favors by hitting him between rojas and the pitcher. If anything just let him go down and get some confidence again.
One thing i do like is that he is still a great CF though, so if he even becomes an .800 OPS kind of guy he will be an all star caliber CF.
Is every website just not updated or is Chen not pitching tonight? I had read he is scheduled to throw today and then straily tomorrow, but all the sites seem to have Smith tonight and Jarlin tomorrow.
Im guessing chen felt a slight pinch in his elbow and is gonna rehab it for 6 months before taking a next step?
in fairness, im pretty sure he is starting tonight and that the websites just havent been updated because he isnt officially on the roster yet. Plus his rehab starts this time seem different than the previous times hes tried to come back. But ya his contract has been an unmitigated disaster.
wtf? you figure we'd have heard something by now and everything before that was mentioned before yesterday was that he was for sure making his debut today. But this would be a very Chen thing to have happen.
