I'm on the pay Realmuto train as well. 1. because over the course of Marlins history and especially recent history we've seen how tough it is to acquire a franchise catcher. 2. It's needed from a PR standpoint, maybe we'll get a reprieve from these hostile Jeter interviews for a little while.

i see maddawg only posts when we lose btw. on pace for 47 wins now after this major winning streak and fangraphs still has us at 64. Making a huge charge in the NL east too, just 9 out, only 7.5 out of the wild card!!! can you feel the playoff excitement?

We are getting Tyler Kinley back from Minn. They DFA him today. So we get another 100mph arm in AAA pen

See him as a ML pitcher in 2020 so would really like to keep him. Likely pitches in AAA in 2019 if he sticks. Even if he sucks and has a 7+ERA he likely sticks because its about 2020 not nowLast edited by tjfla; 04-26-2018, 11:35 AM.

Nothing is close but wouldn't be surprised to see him gone at deadline and latest Winter Meetings. 5 teams have called but havent gotten past Miami telling them what it would take to get him

People's minds change, tempers die down, new perspectives take shape. We don't know what's going on in his head. Does he still probably want a trade at this point? Yeah, probably, but all I'm saying is if I were Mike Hill, if I were Derek Jeter I would feel like it's my responsibility to change his mind.

Ya if someone gets desperate at Deadline they could get what they want but more likely it happens at Winter Meetings

Originally posted by fish16 View Postive been saying deadline at the latest, but i wouldnt mind waiting till the winter meetings now and just hoping he sees progress from young players that we've acquired and likes that we are actually starting to build an organizational culture that isnt just us being a clown show like we have been under loria.
