Ziegler really stinks. He's the epitome of a reliever who pitches with the style that is really not a good style for relievers to have. If we werent trying to trade him then having him in the closers role would be truly stupid.

solid career, just cannot stand relievers who pitch to contact and dont strike many guys out. its asking for bad luck in late inning situations. And giving one a multi year contract is just horrendous management.

You must just hate relievers. Ones that cant throw strikes. Pitch to contact. Dude their relievers they are usually going to have guys on base. Pitching to contact is fine. Especially Ziegler who usually gets ground balls.
