I’m not sure I like this deal for the Padres. And Hand is a lot better than Barraclough so this kind of changes my mind on the relievers being must trade.

Hand is better than Barraclough. And Cimber is probably more valuable than DD too. The Indians just got two valuable relievers.

As far as I’m concerned this move means we have to sign JT long term. We aren’t getting a C for him in a trade, Keibert ruiz is far off and isn’t going anywhere, the other top C Prospects are on teams that don’t need help

We tried with Bearclaw and more for Mejia but writing was on the wall on Monday when Clev was calling all around the league looking at other options

Baltimore got a very solid package for a rental.

Got 4 guys who could be in MLB next year and a UT guy for a guy who would have left(They would have got like Pick #35 in draft)

Oh and Barraclough is definitely worth McKenzie at this point. Let's make Cleveland GREAT. Throw in Dietrich too.

Oakland needs help and has a FV50 catcher. They are the best landing swap if a good catcher has to be in the deal.

Exactly which is why most people think Bearclaw and Conley are gone. Teams are paying out ass for controllable guys. I even heard Steck is getting calls but they would like to hold onto at least 1 of them.

NYY/Hou/LAD/Boston/Cubs/Philly/Atlanta are all looking for RP. Probably add in Oakland and Colorado when they figure out what they are doing
