Yeah, I think I’ve made my thoughts on Jazz clear. With that said, you didn’t have to deal him.

I'm still digesting this. I'm getting more annoyed by the minute, though.
It suddenly struck me that this deal was intentionally done on a Saturday. I call bullshit on it just unfolding this way.
Obviously Gallen has mere mortal production this year but he was a beast in 2022 and 2023. This particular shit sandwich is getting less tasty by the minute.
Lee Stone (RIP) is turning in his grave.

The biggest problem with trading Jazz iis.........even though he did not become nearly the huge star production player we thought he would, people ((especially little people) liked to watch him play and wear his jersey. This is a WAY bigger PR problem than the best pure contact hitter in baseball trade.

It’s not at all. You’re just realizing it. The Arraez trade a month into a season off of a playoffs when their two best players were rehabbing from TJ was a lot worse

Unlike some I don't think this deal was particularly bad.Amy Adams, AKA Cinnamon MuffLogan Morrison: "If baseball didn't exist, I would probably be ... like a curler. Or a hairstylist."

Ultimately. Only time will tell on these deals. If Bendix and this staff knows more than the consensus, then these deals will be great. But as now now, the Arraez (scared to be opening this Pandora’s box) and Jazz deals feel like just trading these guys to trade them, when they didn’t have to. We’ll see.

They made the playoffs because they went like 41-18 in one run games. It was a mirage and wasn't going to be replicated.

I wasn't making a joke. I constantly defended Lee when he was facing temper tantrum attacks from fish16. I liked Lee a lot. I wish he still posted here.
But he was up there in years and just disappeared one day.

But for some, every trade we make is destined for disaster.
For the fans of the team that is getting back prospects for a good player, these deals always look like train wrecks early on. It's always been this way.
But the Marlins have done this before and the end result was World Series rings. Take a look at the trades that led up to both WS rings.Last edited by Namaste; 07-27-2024, 09:08 PM.
