Wasn’t able to watch the game yesterday but going with Emmanuel de Jesus for 4.1 innings when you were only down by a run is an absurd decision. Skip continues to give up on games for no reason. Consistently thinking about future games instead of the game his team is currently playing

Questionable roster decision: Marlins added Emmanuel De Jesus. He was a 5 ERA with 1.70 WHIP over about 15 starts at AAA. Ryan Weathers, who started vs excellent Orioles AAA team yesterday, went 7 shutout innings. Over five starts, he is 1.86 ERA and 1.07 WHIP for Jumbo Shrimp. He will be starting for Marlins soon; we're just going to wonder why he didn't start against Phillies yesterday. Cueto never even had a rehab start before getting stomped.

I think the only future he was thinking about was todays bullpen game against the Phillies. It’s also not Skip’s fault that de Jesus is on his roster in the first place.

Castano was always coming up here today, he’s on normal rest. There is no need to essentially give up on a game in a playoff chase when we are .5 games out. He has done it countless times in the second half. There are 20 games left and he’s giving up on games to rest the bullpen
