Sanchez has really taken a step lately. Really solid at bats and approach. Next step is to combine the approach and at bats with some more power mixed in

He is a horrific fielder and a flatly average hitter. That isn’t hard to find. That’s not a solid mlb player. 2.4 war in close to 1100 plate appearances is not super difficult to find. Even less at 2.2 with baseball reference war. He is one of the last men on the roster maybe on a good team

Which should tell you just how mediocre dlc is considering bell doesn’t have defensive value and had a really bad end to last year and a super bad and unlucky start to this year. You’re comparing a bad stretch for bell compared to DLC’s career. Dlc is a career 104 wrc+ that is heavily weighted by a month last September that was not representative of what he actually has been for the other 2.5 years of his career. Even with the down end to last year and beginning of this year and a terrible pandemic year, bell is still a career 115 wrc+.

Dlc is not close to good enough as a hitter to put up with how bad he is at every other aspect of the game

Taking out nardi for Lopez is another idiotic bullpen move by skip. Lopez has 0 idea where his pitches are going. Go down with your best pitchers for fucks sake. Nardi threw 13 pitches and we have an off day tomorrow
