smeltzer has a 5.95 ERA and a 1.63 WHIP and 14 hr's allowed in 65 innings in AAA. he had a 7.56 ERA last year in 50 AAA innings. If you think this is anything other than baseball being weird i dont know what to tell you. Smeltzer is hot garbage. Lucky for us it worked out today.
