Jazz is electric when healthy and absolutely personality plus but the Gallen trade looks bad right now. Not Realmuto bad but bad.

I don’t think it’s terrible because he is a good, albeit not great, player when he’s healthy, but he just plays so recklessly to the point of injuring himself consistently. You cannot sign a guy like that long term

Gallen is pretty great right now (3.3 WAR to Jazz’s 1.0)

You just have to call up Dane Myers at this point. Dude is still hitting .440 at AAA. 1.201 OPS. A HR and a 2B today.

Jazz is fun but I don't think "electric" is a term I'd use for him. Electric is players like Ohtani, Tatis, Soto(well, Nationals Soto) who by themselves can change the outcome of a game and opposing teams gameplan for.

Jazz for his career strikes out 30% of the time and struggles to get on base. He can't hit LHP and while he had some promise in CF he has struggled defensively. Yea he can turn on one and hit it 450 ft but it's just as if not more likely that he gets a golden Sombrero.

Jazz is a flashy 6th or 7th hole hitter. He is a nice piece to have on a team giving you power in the bottom half of your lineup and is very marketable.

But he shouldn't be the best player on your team.

We are 47-28 with a plus 32 run differential against all non braves teams and 1-9 with a -54 run differential against the braves. -54!!! And it’s been those kinds of beatdowns every time dating back to the Covid year at least. It’s just crazy
