Spring training doesn’t mean much but Cooper was clearly seeing the ball well in spring. Segura too and Arraez in the wbc

Sandy’s control has been spotty through spring, wbc and today. Hopefully
just a little rust and he will get back on track

Tanner Scott is so bad. Relievers who have no control are completely worthless

Tanner Scott should be nowhere near a close game. We know he can’t throw strikes. Enough. Again, it was painfully obvious they needed and still need one more legitimate back end bullpen arm. Just so stupid not to get one. With our lineup, every run counts. The offense should be a little better, but when we are in close games we need to win as many as possible with our starting pitching and lack of impact bats. They don’t need a super pen, and in ng’s defense I like the guys she did add to the pen, but it’s so clear they needed 1 more guy.

On a positive note, Arraez is really fucking good. Pablo is good, Arraez is better and even more important to our future. We need reynolds or a ss, but this lineup will be better with him and segura. 2-3 more moves are needed though
