That is super fun.

DLC is hitting .328/.370/.493. BABIP is outrageous per his heaters, but the expected slash is .287/.330/.438 which is a top 90 expected slash in baseball. There is probably some slugging room to grow here if he can keep working on launch angle swing path.

Alek Thomas, hitting .183/.258/.317 at the moment, but has an expected slash of .293/.368/.463, which would be a top 60 expected slash in baseball. The D-Backs certainly know this, but grumble grumble give them something significant (as they need pitching) and eat some Bumgarner money as an incentive to make it worth it for them. He's about to explode.

Supposedly we were also 12-9 through 21 games last year. I have no recollection of them starting that decently last year
