Gurriel adds a different dimension and I like the way the lineup feels with jazz leading off and Arraez at the 3 hole plus berti in the 9 hole kind of resetting things as another lead off type hitter. This should be their most used lineup. I like soler and Cooper splitting dh with the other in the of

Also, for the record, yes, arraez’s bat would play at any position, including first base, which I got shit for for weeks for saying in the offseason. Trading Pablo for him was an absolute steal

He is still much better at 2B value wise so yes, you should get shit for that. A good team plays him there. But if he's going to hit .850+ OPS vs RHP, you can get him at 1B most of the time and figure out where to play him against lefties for sure. And it's not a steal as Pablo is also incredible and looking great (.75 whip so far and velocity uptick). It's a win-win as both teams needed the other.

They still need to sign him longterm also. They need to lock in the Sandy/Arraez/Luzardo/probably Jazz core and then build off of it.
