I’m arguing with someone who actually said the game was over because we were losing 2-0 to the Pirates in the 1st inning.

But it’s also the same guy who vehemently told us for 4 months that Bryan Reynolds wasn’t worth our time when in reality you had no clue what his value was.

Rogers now at a 5.42 ERA, his K/9 is down 2 from last year, his bb/9 is up 1.5 from last year, his home run's per 9 innings is nearly 3x higher than last year, and his HR per fly ball is up 140% from last year. He needs to be sent down and Meyer needs to be up here ASAP.

hate to break it to you, but this team is also 14 games under .500 against every other team other than the lowly nationals. We are a terrible team being carried by 2 pitchers because the front office refuses to spend money or bring up guys that can help the team right now. We have a putrid lineup when healthy and we're missing probably our 2 best hitters, a bad defense, and a terrible bullpen in close games.

Obviously 2 runs isn't a death sentence, but for this team it pretty much is, especially without jazz and soler. they weren't winning that game with rogers coming out and throwing yet another stinker. you can continue to focus on a throwaway line, but the fact of the matter is that rogers has been terrible from his first appearance this year on and has not shown a single sign of progress all year. He needs to be in the minors to work on things and they need to bring meyer out there. you cant keep throwing a guy with a 5.5 ERA who cant get through 6 innings and say with a straight face that they are trying to win. Rogers has been worse than even Castano and Garrett, and they are fringe major leaguers.
