lewis brinson, judging on the curve of how god awful he had been the last 3 years, has been much improved this year. id like to see him in the lineup every day for the last 2 months and just see what he ends up hitting by the end of the year. his at bats are no longer painful to watch.

luzardo wasnt great last night but the stuff is pretty clearly there. Give stottlemeyer some time with him and get that delivery and release point consistent to improve the control and command and he is a legit piece moving forward. He never had control issues coming up so maybe its a nerves/too much adrenaline thing in the majors or he just had such ridiculous stuff that he was able to overcome it vs lesser talent in the minors.
I'd like to see edward cabrera up here next very soon. He is ready and even if he struggles at least he gets those struggles out of the way the last few months of this year and gets an idea of how different MLB is and works on his weaknesses in the offseason to come back ready next year like Rogers did last year.

Not saying he should have a job next year here but he has not been bad for the last few months at the plate and he has earned every day playing time the last two months over the other options. At the very least he could show whether he is at least an option to start in an OF spot next year if injuries occur during spring training.

I still might go with Harrison since he's gotten less of a look at the big league level and I think his ceiling is higher than Brinson's. I do not think he would do well, though. Also, I think he's in the dog house right now because of the Marte incident.

They need to just dump all 3 of Sierra, Harrison, and Brinson. Sierra first, flip a coin on the other two. All 3 are garbage, but there can still be a "best" of the garbage - without much going on this year, it doesn't matter who plays now....but get rid of them all after the season.
