A top 5-20 SP in baseball who may lead the league in innings through the remainder of his contract is worth more than this when they have 5+ other pitchers they can trade.
They need help but this isn't it. The help is another 1 massive P trade, floor Arraez/Jazz type guy, another massive deal, with a FA or 2nd enormous P trade, and then a third routine "Soler/Garcia/Segura" type deal or a mid-tier (Rosario, etc.) kind of trade. Hypothetically, Sandy *might* be able to accomplish all 3 of those things, but then you've kicked your contending window 2 more years down the road + will need to spend $175m+ in free agency to replace Sandy. The juice isn't worth the squeeze.
