CSBC Inaugural Draft Discussion Thread

MiamiHomer brings up a good point; do we get to pick our stadiums? Most of the teams in the league play in cities with existing ballparks, are those cities getting those corresponding parks? What do the teams like Edmonton do that have no ballpark?

I do want my team to play in Petco. I'm just wondering how this works.

I'm not sure how it was done but the reason I know what stadium I'm in was because PWG had to check the reason why Prince Fielder had such an amazing season in his test sim and it was because he was on San Antonio and my team's stadium was, in fact, Citizens Bank Park.

To see your stadium:

1) From the OOTP screen, go to the lower toolbar and click on the "Home" icon next to the Team tab.

2) On that screen, there should be a tab that says "Options and Ballpark." That will let you know what stadium you have. For example, I have Chicago, but I have Turner Field.

For some reason none of the team logos are showing up for me. Is this happening to everyone else?

If the team logos aren't working... my only suggestion is to Re-DL the league file... this has happened before and I literally have NO clue what to do about it.

As for stadiums AFTER the draft, I will allow all owners to re-design their stadiums. This will probably take me a couple days to input them all, so I would PREFER that you just pick a real stadium and roll with that. But I will allow for customization of stadiums... (e.g. wall height, distance, hr/2b/3b modifiers, etc).

BTW, I still haven't reformatted my computer... Im not sure when I'm going to be able to sit down and do that. I do ask that somebody please have the free OOTP8 download link available for me.

If it is, why not take a day or two break so everyone can assess their teams and get a list together for the Minors Portion, while you reformat your computer and get everything taken care of?
