The long and the short of it is this...
We expect what, at the very least, appears to be a unique, honest effort. Obviously we prefer something over nothing, but at the same time... when it seems like one guy is essentially building the other guy's team and it seems like there's little input from the actual owner... it just puts the commishes in a gray area because there are HUGE opportunities for shenanigans.
As far as I'm concerned though, unless someone can bring up a legitimate new concern on either side, the conversation has run its course. We, the commishes, want teams to be uniquely owned and operated... and you as owners do reserve the right to make your picks however you can.
Im sure, though, the issue will re-arise during the minors portion of the draft.
