I feel like the player development in this game is such a crapshoot, and I had a lot of success in the TBBC with a similar strategy. My only concern is the payroll, since we have a much lower cap here.

You're going to disagree when Barry Bonds puts up a .900 OPS as my first baseman.

Im wondering, Bob... why don't you keep Bonds in LF where he's just bad... and play Berkman at 1B where he's REALLY good... as opposed to an average LF and a TERRIBLE 1B...

Curious, are there any plans to increase the cap at any point?
I'm sure some of these guys are goign to be expensive to keep, and if i can prevent selling off parts later for cap room--it'd be great.
I'd hate to trade Howard for cap room, only to find out the caps been raised the next week.

Why would the cap be raised at all? It's supposed to be tight and make people move players.

Sorry, I just figured a 75 million cap in a league where players could eventually make 6-7 millon a pop as a Starter/Position player wont go very far, and depending on the amount of prospects (too few), could be a really low cap number.

75M in cap worked in all the test sims... only exceptions were teams that had like... 3 TOP tier SPs or something

Yeah, but 2-3 years from now? Sim wise. Prospects earn money too. Eventually they will be too much to keep.

I just hope my plan for how my team is assembled doesn't backfire and suck lol. Playing in Citizens bank park FTW or FTL(if you're one of my pitcher).

MiamiHomer brings up a good point; do we get to pick our stadiums? Most of the teams in the league play in cities with existing ballparks, are those cities getting those corresponding parks? What do the teams like Edmonton do that have no ballpark?

I do want my team to play in Petco. I'm just wondering how this works.
