Has he suddenly become a legitimate MVP candidate?

                      But he's a professional, though.

Apparently, Lincecum thinks the Rockies cheat:

I think the Rockies cheat when you look at the fact their pitching OPS against home/away is same, while their hitter OPS has a huge home/away split - and it's been that way since they went to the humidor

Champan now has the fastest recorded fastball in MLB history after last night. Threw 105 MPH, against one of the batters his "slowest" pitch was 102.

                                Welp, right on cue:

                                http://www.csnbayarea.com/09/25/10/R...08&feedID=2497

Starting tonight, umpires at Coors field will monitor how balls are humidified and get from the Rockies' dugout to the pitcher, according to a San Francisco Chronicle report.

John Shea tweeted that Major League Baseball "now will oversee use of humidor balls at Coors Field following complaint filed by Giants."

The Rockies use a humidor to change the baseballs used at Coors Field so that the notorious hitter's park hosts more average offensive output.

During the Giants' 2-1 win over the Rockies Friday, starting pitcher Tim Lincecum requested a new ball and could be seen mouthing profanities about the use of what he called a "juiced ball."

And apparently it's nothing new to a lot of people:

                                http://blogs.riverfronttimes.com/dai..._cardinals.php

"There's a feeling that the Rockies are doing something with the humidor-stored baseballs, and sometimes late in games when the Rockies need help, that some non-humidor baseballs slip into the mix. Nobody has been able to prove it.
