So basically there's no way to predict a player's improvement, there's no such thing as a high or low-ceiling for a player, they are what their stats are, until they're not, which is completely random. Improvement can happen at any time at any age. That seems to be the Lee Stone thesis statement on scouting and prospect evaluation.

You missed age also doesn't matter and RBIs are indicative of future performance
