Almost like a player's production over the past month or even a year is not the sole indication of what kind of player they'll be in the future.

      LH-Moran/Kinley/Lee/Castano
If they get 1 RP out of that I'll be impressed

      • I don't see why they don't move Noesi to the pen now, maybe you get like a Dustin McGowan, 5th-6th guy out of the pen for a couple of years.

Absolutely with the way the starters look

Urena, Pablo, Caleb, Alcantara, and Gallen is a full rotation. Let's call Yamamoto and Sixto 6 and 7 next year.

The conversions will be starting soon for guys like Richards and Elisier, let alone Noesi who will never crack this.

          • With Cooper seemingly going on the IL again, what do we think about calling up Diaz and moving Castro to 1st Base because who gives an F?

Sure. I'd like to see him at SS/3B though (show off for a contender's bench?) if he can pass there in pinches still. You can put Rojas and Anderson anywhere and they'll be fine.

Get Anderson used to it too because they should sign Rendon(!), and god-willingly Brinson, Monte, H. Ramirez, and Cooper, with VVM looming, make OF unfeasible for him. I can hope. Let me hope.

                Austin Dean got launched back.

                  • Romo got Harper to hit into a 405 foot out.

Beating the Phillies in Philly feels real good.

                        • Anyone else who would have rather seen 28-year-old Tyler Heineman take Alfaro's place instead of no-bat, 35-year-old Wilkin Castillo? Heineman can hit.

I was thinking the same thing. I think the thought is though that Alfaro will be back shortly and they want to take Castillo off the 40-Man once he comes back and it'll be easier to get him through waivers than Heineman.

                              • All in the same game, Wilkin Castillo hit the game winning double in his first MLB appearance in 10 years, Chen pitches 2.1 innings in Philly and didn’t give up a run, Brian Anderson ran into an out twice in the last 3 innings and Gabe Kapler got ejected. What a time to be alive.

                                Going for the sweep tomorrow.
