Hopefully Cooper and Ramirez can keep up their current good run and solidify themselves for the rest of the season. If so we'd have 4 spots locked up for next season. Move Cooper to 1st, Ramirez mans one of the outfield slots. Anderson mans either a corner OF or 3B. Alfaro at C of course. Then you have to think once Castro moves on, 2nd Base is Diaz's for sure. Center Field is the absolute key to the organization. Can Harrison or Brinson figure it out? One of them has got to be manning CF next year I would think. Probably more Harrison since in my mind Brinson's had his chance and utterly failed. Brinson probably will get one more 2-3 month run this year out there in Center playing for his major league life. If lou can find a way to make his Rendon and Didi pipe dream happen, we could maybe go from historically bad offensively to average.

Some of you are not taking into account how bad the position is right now in the sport. Alfaro is the least of our problems. Of our position players at the big league level right now, he’s easily the most intriguing player.

Hopefully we add a stud tonight too.

With our pitching, thats not nearly the trainwreck that people want to make it out to be. That's a long way to go at this point though. The past month has been incredibly encouraging at both the major and minor league level.
Hopefully we add a stud tonight too.

I'd have batted them:
Anderson
Ramirez
Cooper
Alfaro
Castro
Rojas
Riddle
Granderson
Let the ones we care about hit first.

Why are we still playing Rojas everyday? If we want to see riddles bat then let him play ss. Rojas can’t hit his way out of a wet paper bag and really never has been able to. He’s also over 30. I don’t understand this fascination we have with him. Let him play the super utility role and play riddle everyday if we really want to see him. It’s not like we still have these huge black holes in every outfield position anymore with cooper and Ramirez hitting well

Also, this isn’t saying much, but this team has the best future out of any south Florida team right now, although the panthers are right there with us given how their offseason will look in a few weeks

This means we won the Yelich trade right?

A 12-0 game makes studying for the bar so much more enjoyable. This turnaround from the lineup since the first month has been truly unbelievable
